Her enthusiasm overwhelms the audience and provides an atmosphere of active learning. What specifically has impressed me about Donna was her initiative to learn about the fire service before she started to provide training. While she has never been a firefighter, she spent over six months visiting fire stations, riding with engine companies and interviewing firefighters. She learned about the audience that she would be teaching before starting to teach. This has allowed her to have creditability with the participants in her workshops. This is rare quality in many consultants today.
